Software Required:- DVD Decrypter, dvd2one, Ahead Nero 6.3.17

Task 1
Install DVD Decrypter
Install dvd2one
Install Ahead Nero 6.3.17

Tip
Use your DVD Rom to decrypt your dvd file to your harddrive, only use you DVD Writer to burn the DVD-R's.
This will speed up the process.

Task 2
Insert the dvd you wish to backup into your DVD Rom drive.
Create a folder on your PC where you want the decrypted DVD files to go.
Open DVD Decrypter.
Step 1: choose your source ( DVD Rom Drive ).
Step 2: Click Mode and select File.
Step 3: Click Edit and select Select All.
Step 4: Click browse and select the folder you created, where you want the decrypted DVD files to go.
Step 5: Click Decrypt ( DVD disk to HardDrive button ).

Tip
You have just decrypted all the DVD files to your harddrive. Size is usally 7-8GB.
Now you need to compress the DVD files to fit on a 4.7GB DVD disk.

Task 3
You must make a choice here...
If the DVD files are under 6GB in size, you can use dvd2one to compress the full DVD.
If the DVD files are bigger than 6GB in size, you must use dvd2one to compress the "movie only".
** Most recent DVD's have copy protection and only Full Disk Mode will work. **
This will depend on the DVD you are ripping.

Full disk Copy Mode = Task 4 ( Skip Task 5 )
Movie-only Copy Mode = Task 5 ( Skip Task 4 )

Task 4 ( Full disk Copy Mode )
Create a folder on your PC where you want the compressed DVD files to go.
!!! you must name this folder VIDEO_TS !!!
Open dvd2one.
Step 1: choose your source ( the decrypted DVD Files on your PC ).
Step 2: choose your destination ( the VIDEO_TS folder you just created )
Step 3: Copy Mode, make sure this is set to "Full disk" Copy Mode.
Step 4: click next.
Step 5: choose your audio track, select all english audio tracks apart from DTS.
Step 6: click Start.

Task 5 ( Movie-only Copy Mode )
Create a folder on your PC where you want the compressed DVD files to go.
!!! you must name this folder VIDEO_TS !!!
Open dvd2one.
Step 1: choose your source ( the decrypted DVD Files on your PC ).
Step 2: choose your destination ( the VIDEO_TS folder you just created )
Step 3: Copy Mode, make sure this is set to "Movie-only" Copy Mode.
Step 4: click next.
Step 5: choose your title, the movie will have the longest time.
Step 6: click next.
Step 7: choose all the chapters in this title.
Step 8: click next.
Step 9: choose your audio track, select all english audio tracks apart from DTS.
Step 10: click start.

Tip
Now your DVD files are able to fix on a 4.7GB DVD disk.
You can check to see if you DVD files are ok and working.
Use PowerDVD and browse to the files,
remember when using powerdvd is will create a Default.pls file in your folder,
deleted it before you continue Task 6

Task 4
Open Ahead Nero 6.3.17
Step 1: From the wizard menu select DVD-film.
Step 2: Click New.

Step 3: Drag and drop all your dvd files into the VIDEO_TS folder.
Step 4: Change the Volume Label ( LOTR_Fellow_1 )
Step 5: Click the burn icon to start recording.

if you are wanting multiple copies then change the Copies counter to what you require.
